Hello Cozy friendz!

Welcome to my blog! Here, we’ll be talking about all things coding, games, cute stuff, cozy stuff, and cats. I’m excited to share my thoughts and experiences with you, and I hope you’ll find this blog to be a fun and informative space.

Coding is an incredibly useful skill to have in today’s world, and it can be a lot of fun too. Whether you’re just starting out or you’re a seasoned programmer, there’s always something new to learn. We’ll be discussing programming languages, coding challenges, and tips for improving your skills.

But this blog isn’t just about coding. We’ll also be talking about games, from video games to board games to card games. I’ll share my favorite games and reviews of new games that come out. Who doesn’t love a good game night with friends?

Now, let’s talk about cute stuff. From adorable animals to charming illustrations, I can’t get enough of the cute things in life. We’ll be sharing pictures, stories, and videos of the cutest things we can find.

Of course, we can’t forget about cozy stuff. There’s nothing better than snuggling up with a soft blanket and a warm cup of tea on a chilly day. We’ll be sharing cozy recipes, DIY projects, and tips for creating a cozy home.

And finally, let’s talk about cats. As a proud cat owner myself, I can’t resist sharing pictures and stories of these furry friends. We’ll be discussing everything from cat behavior to cat memes.

Life updates!💚

Hi cozy friends and fam! I wanted to give some life updates. It has been a minute since I have posted. I have lots of ideas and things in the works, but the big news is, I GOT A NEW JOB!! I am soooo excited and I really could not have asked for a better job and company to work for after graduation my Web Development bootcamp.💻 I am an Assistant Web Developer for a natural health supplement company, and I absolutely love it! For the first time in my life, I feel like I am on the right path in my career and life, and I never thought I would get here. Such a good feeling!! ✨

Ok, onto the next topic…. I have been trying to get healthier, with my food, and products. Cutting out as much toxic junk as possible. I have been following Healthillie’s instagram for a while now and have gotten to try some products from her site. She wholesales which is nice so you can get a bit of everything on there, and she makes sure they are items made with quality ingredients and non-toxic. That said, I have an affiliate for you all to use to give her shop a peep here.

I also know, sometimes having a shop with many options can be overwhelming so I am going to put a few of my faves in this post for you.

1st up is aleavia body wash. I have tried their lavender body wash (here), as well as the aleavia purifying facial cleanse (here), but the REAL winner that I want to talk about is the Orchid Body Cleanse 🌸(they also have a body lotion, but you would have to get that through the aleavia site.) I have tried sooooo many body washes, and I always end up returning to this one, I cant even explain how amazing this smells, and is only 8 ingredients!!!! 8!!! It is magical and I highly suggest everyone tries this body wash at least once in their life!

If you do happen to try this and love it as much as I do, let me know!! I love being able to share these products and really hope anyone that tries them, gets as much enjoyment as I do. I will be sharing some other products as well. I have a toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, and some other items I have ordered as well, but want to give them a good testing till I am sure, that I am in love with them.

I have more ideas in the works, I am working on updating my clothing, I decided to move from Teespring to Printify because the quality is really so much better, but I am working on figuring out how to hook it to my Etsy store. I also have wood burning ideas I want to make. So much to do, so little time haha. 😀 Anyhoo, as always, I hope this post brought you something good, and hope you have a great day/night!

Phone Wallpapers! (free)

Hello cozy friends! I know AI is all the hype and I have been playing around a lot with an AI image generator called Midjourney. I was able to create some really pretty pictures and I wanted to share them with you! I currently have one set as my phone background. (I am still on a Google Pixel 3 phone) It looks pretty good so I am guessing it would look good on any phone screen. I know there is a lot of controversy over AI images, but Im not collecting money for these, I just want to share them because, well, they are pretty, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them. 🙂

Let me know if you would like to see more of these too. 🙂

Coding Challenge with the Discord group!

During my time in a Web Development bootcamp, a fellow student named Andres created a Discord group for our class. As time passed and we graduated, he started inviting more junior developers, making the group even more exciting. To support each other, Andres and one of the moderators, Matthew, came up with the idea of having coding challenges within the Discord group. We now participate in weekly coding challenges where we can create anything we want over the weekend, and then provide each other with honest and kind feedback on our work.

The challenges are open to anyone regardless of skill level, and there is no judgement involved. Participants can choose to work alone or collaborate with others. This week’s challenge is a Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge, and we’re excited to see what everyone will come up with.

If you’re interested in joining the Discord group and are new to Web Development or coding in general, feel free to reach out to me. We‘re a friendly and welcoming group, and we‘d love to have more like-minded people join us.

(I added the bold text aka, “bionic reading” to make the text easier to process for ADHDers. 🙂 Hopefully it is helpful!)

UPDATE:

We finished our challenge. I have here the Tic-Tac-Toe game I ended up publishing. I did use a youtube tutorial to do this which I will link here if you are interested. It is by Coding Artist and I really enjoy the style and the walkthrough is very easy to follow (well, I pause it a lot haha!!)

Check it out if you want to play some Tic-Tac-Toe! ohnetters-tic-tac-toe!

Scrimba

I absolutely love Scrimba! As someone who’s new to coding, I find that Scrimba’s interactive video tutorials are incredibly helpful. The fact that I can watch the video and practice coding in real-time is a game-changer. I also appreciate that Scrimba’s code editor is embedded into the video player, so I can easily pause the video and try out the code myself in the same interface. This has really helped me to solidify my understanding of the concepts I’m learning. I also love Scrimba’s community-driven approach. It’s great to be able to collaborate with other learners, ask for help, and share my own projects. The platform is user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy to navigate and find the resources I need. Overall, I’m so glad I discovered Scrimba and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to learn to code or improve their coding skills.

They do occasionally run specials (I got the pro during the holidays for I believe 20% off) If you want to check out there site though, Follow this link!
